We took the stage at the 2024 Second TDPF Community Event (August 8) and gave a pitch presentation explaining the trial of our project called Multilingual AI Concierge.

This project was adopted as a 2024 Tokyo Data Platform case study project. It uses a combination of generative AI, translation AI and local information on Akihabara, aiming to provide guidance related to tourism and disaster management. To prepare the data, we will use use AI technology to test the automatic collection and processing of data on local businesses upon disclosure of such information, with the aim of reducing the burden on these businesses. This project is implemented in cooperation with Hitachi, Ltd., Nightley Inc. and various Akihabara-related stakeholders.

We have also unveiled the AI Concierge prototype at the TDPF Community members mixer held after the pitch presentation. It is imperative to obtain and prepare data on a variety of local stores and facilities to provide a working guidance service. We will continue to pursue ways to promote the charm of the Akihabara region while sharing the progress of future trials at TDPF Community events.
