Exclusive links with BOLT for business in Japan. Usain Bolt’s next generation electric mobility business launches in Japan

Having retired from the front line of athletics, Usain Bolt is now tackling environmental problems caused by carbon dioxide emissions, improving traffic congestion, and other top priority issues on a global scale. He participates in the BOLT mobility business not only as an ambassador but also as an investor, as it is a business that can contribute to the improvement of the environment around the world. He visited Japan on November 15, 2019 to announce the launch of BOLT in Japan. As a tool that can play a role in the traffic conditions of each Japanese region, we sent out a message: we hope that people will experience the new electric mobility service that will overturn conventional concepts of transportation.

In addition to electric kickboards, BOLT will offer many other options, including electric assist bicycles, electric bikes and vehicles, aiming to introduce them to communities and businesses to meet their needs. BOLT announced a full partnership with IP Dream, Inc. for IoT board development and communications technology, and as a service deployment partner in Japan.

As the head of Asian strategy, Mr. Shimoyama also joined Mr. Bolt on stage and gave a speech on the launch of BOLT in Japan.
